A Magenta Block

A few days ago Ellen posted some 5 min flowers
she fashioned from scraps.
This gave me the idea for a block which I was having trouble designing for a challenge.
It had to read "magenta". (Not one of my favorite colors.)
Thanks Ellen. Do you prefer one over the other or shall I give it another go?

    These are great! I'll have to try this sometime. They definitely read, "magenta!"

    They're both lovely, if pushed, I actally prefer the one on the right, but I'd be happy to receive the other if it needs a home!!
