Victoria sent me her scraps a year ago and I've had ever so much fun playing with them. they've pushed my colour sense and my sense of playfulness. thanks again! (my only hesitation about joining a scrap swap is that package postage in Canada is expensive compared to the US.)Brendahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09029115839076216849noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4849540346022545171.post-12241799891328170522010-10-06T13:58:45.316-07:002010-10-06T13:58:45.316-07:00In the summer I love pastels, not so much in the c...In the summer I love pastels, not so much in the cooler months. I never knew my grandmother, but I think that she might HATE it if I did something like this with her blocks. But then, I know that she was a wonderful, strong woman and just maybe, she might approve, were she around to see what her granddaughter is up to these days.Mary Keaslerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04908710230407490209noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4849540346022545171.post-45604169120172441512010-10-06T12:37:28.099-07:002010-10-06T12:37:28.099-07:00Those are really pretty blocks V! I've come away on holiday with a small box of bright scraps and four larger pieces of fabric...challenging myself to get going rather than ogle my stash!! However, weather is fantastic...but the wonderful Cornish coast is inspiring...and has given me ideas too! How about a blog scrap swap? Each person sending scraps to the next on the list...or something like that?CharlottePhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16693808113369554138noreply@blogger.com
