I was energized! HOUSES! I love houses! I was going to wait until AFTER Christmas and do some, when life is CALMER. But I couldn't! Just COULDN'T.
We met friends for dinner and I kept SQUIRMING and wanting to be home in front of my SEWING machine with HOUSES. Finally! Home.
I rush in and start making HOUSES! Glorious HOUSES!

First one is OK. But I think it is too busy and decide to do the second one with less BUSY. But I do like the FENCE block I found in the SCRAP pile!
And better yet, I find CLOUDS! The SKY for the second house is going to be CLOUDS!

Oh oh. This second one, while it does have CLOUDS, it is not quite what I set out to do. It was SUPPOSED to be a house AGAINST the mountain. But it looks like a house IN a mountain. Oh my. It is a good thing I didn't choose ARCHITECTURE in college!
I CAN say this: the THIRD one will be the CHARM!
Making HOUSES is ENERGIZING!
glen: I think I will go clean something.............maybe not.
Cute! I thought the second one was a very modern home.
ReplyDeleteEveryone's houses are great! (I am lusting after them too, Glen!)
ReplyDeleteI think that is what is so fun and interesting about all of them. sometimes you have to search for it, and it's a happy surprise... So much energy in them!
ReplyDeleteOh my ... I love how randomly you pieced everything together & they just jump out at you!
ReplyDeleteI love your busy houes block! The fence is just perfect!
ReplyDeleteI meant the 'house'.. Even the word got wonky!
ReplyDeleteLove your blocks!
ReplyDeleteGreat houses. I love how they are all so fun and so different.
ReplyDeleteYour houses are quilt lovely. I love the fence.
ReplyDeleteYour second one look like the grand entrance to a huge pyramid.
