27" X 31"
After playing with my last piece of orange light bulb fabric,
I decided I had to do my light bulb Deity right...
So I took her all apart and laid her all out nicely...
Sifted through my Xmas scraps to make the
red and green fabric fit better around her.
Got out the other two pieces of fabric from Spoonflower,
(the orange and blue crosses which were also to have been RED)...
so it matched nicely with the orange light bulbs!
and then cut up the green light bulb fabric I made...
and bordered it with gold silk.
I think it's a Miracle.
A miracle, that I have STOPPED, and have not made it a king size...
I mean,
even I know I don't need a
"King size" light bulb Deity!
(hmmmmm? well... let me think on that....)
I will hang her in my studio, and call her
The goddess of GOOD IDEAS!
Aha!
A light bulb moment!
hehehe

Really? Not king Size????? I love the goddess of GOOD IDEAS! May we all have one hanging in our sewing space . . .
ReplyDeleteI just love it. So free and unencumbered, so wild and, well, you know.....crazy!

ReplyDeleteI think this is a favorite of mine because I LOVE ORANGE! I haven't received my fabric yet, and don't know if it will be orange or green. Either will be great. Can't wait to see what I come up with. Your wall hanging will make you happy and remind you of our challenge! Merry Christmas!
And she promises to continue to shine the light into the recesses of the crafty brain...now we must think of a Goddess of Good Ideas mantra...GGI... I shall start a post..smiles
ReplyDeleteLOL! We each need to make one of these for ourselves!
