This weeks challenge color
ORANGE!
BRIGHT ORANGE! No soft orange, no peach (Been there done that!)
Traffic cone ORANGE!
Turquoise is often an obvious color, but what else will work?
I actually love how my block turned out. I can see making a whole quilt with
the pink yellow orange palette! With Orange being the predominate!
Maybe NOT with the brown though, reminds me to much of High School
and my work uniform
cleaning rooms at the Holiday Inn.
Yeah. "Housekeeping!"
What was your first job?

One thing this is doing is uncovering the stash. I didn't realise I had so much orange.
Ooh, this one will be especially fun--lots of great orange out there! Love your block, Victoria!
Now I know where I'm going on my lunch break - need more orange! It is my new fave, and I've been using it up. First job? Also a service job like yours, washing dishes at a cafe in town - and your chocolate brown was the color of my coulottes! lol...mem'ries...!
Now there is a word I haven't heard in ages, "coulottes"...
ROFL. I loved mine... ( Still do, but don't tell anyone!)
How come they haven't come back in style?
Woohoo, orange is one of my favorites. I have too many choices for this one! Orange looks great with royal blue...if you are a Mets fan.
My first job - story telling in an afterschool program.
Oh I love orange! I love it with hot pink.
My first job was working in a variety store. We had to wear bright red polyester smocks. It was the 70's and even then it wasn't cool! Hahaha.
Orange is easy for me. Still chewing on mauve, though...
First job: delivering newspapers.
Love this color challenge. I've been using the color of the week where you are using the brown. Maybe I shouldn't have. I have no idea if they will go together when the challenge is over.
First job. JoAnn Fabrics. I still have a stash from 30 years ago.
I'm looking forward to this one! Carrot color. My first job (other than babysitting at 50 cents an hour) was at a hospital lab on 2nd shift. Mostly answered the phone and sent out the billing for the day.
My first job was at the Del Monte canning factory where I wore rubber gloves and a hairnet! It was a low point in my life, but I had nowhere to go but up!!!
I love orange!!! First job ever was dog walking an absolutely foul tempered poodle when I was ten. I loved our neighbor's dog to bits in spite of his attempt to bite everyone and anything in our path including me...
