September bee block

Hello 15 minute bee players! This is our last month together and I had a hard time coming up with a block to challenge all you talented quiltmakers.

This is my inspiration quilt:  a scrappy string/Chinese coins style quilt I finished earlier this summer and gifted to my nephew for his high school graduation.

I'd like each of you to make at least two strips of made fabric
measuring 6 inches wide by at least 12 inches or longer
like this:

I want you to start with some blue or aqua fabric at one end, and then gradually bring the colors to the opposite side of the color wheel into the oranges or yellows or peach or even soft pink

it may help to pick a transition fabric like this, which I pulled from a bag of scraps Victoria sent me, and then go in both directions -- to the blue/aqua and to the orange family

Here's what I have so far. I'm thinking the blocks will look great against this bright green. Use up all your small bits, and put in your big prints with lots of colors. Not too much white in this one, please.
I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with.
If you have questions, put them in the comments and I'll reply there.

Brenda

I don't have much orange and yello in my stash. So you have mostly blues in my strip. But I have added some extras in the blue department to attache to the bottom of someone who has too much yellow and orange! LOL.
