Uh? No! I am NOT a senior citizen! (yet)

Thanks to Olivia for taking this picture of me, for me. I agonized over which one to use then finally decided that anything can be fixed with fabric! I took it to the print shop and had it blown up and printed in black and white. Yay! I am moving in the right direction. And by the way, take a good look at me. Do I look like a senior citizen? Yeah, yeah, I know the hair is gray, it's been like that for a LONG time. And I know there's an extra chin peeking out. But , cmon? Last week I went shopping at a local store, then decided a couple days later to return something. As I pulled out the receipt, I noticed that they gave me a Senior Citizen Discount!!! Whaaaaat? I like to save a buck but....sheesh! So peeps, you better believe that I am going to put a lot of effort into this little project. My self-esteem needs it a bit.

That's agreat picture to work from! I definitely found converting to black and white made it much easier for me to sort out values. I'm with you on going grey - been doing it since I was 19, but I'm no senior citizen yet either! Can't wait to see the youthful you!

You look fabulous! I'm gray too and I just turned 40, so go figure!! Although I may have to flatten a person if they give me a senior citizen discount...he he! Can't wait to see what you make!

That is one reason I used an old picture, my hair has so many colors, I have no idea what it is, lol. I think that will be a great picture to do up in fabric.

I like your picture! I'm noticing that my fabric portrait looks a bit younger and thinner than my photo... The camera may add years or pounds, but fiber never lies ;-)
