Crazy Hearts

I made this over a year ago, but wanted to show how I did my hearts and background.
A friend sends me boxes of her leftovers and one box has a lot of precuts and some presewn blocks, so I just grabbed them randomly and made up a quilt. I used mostly reds that I had for the hearts.

It was made after I lost my kitty and that broke my heart. Making this quilt kept my hands and mind busy and I named it Broken Hearts. Mindless quilting is good therapy when your brain needs a rest;)

Yes, I like it! It looks like a country quilt. What a nice way to curl up and remember your sweet kitty.

I love the background. I would fear the scrappy hearts would get lost but they definitely don't. Nice work.
