I started with scrappy block play. I now have about 7 of these little rascals. I'm looking forward to making more and coming up with a way to use them in a quilt. BUT......... I decided to do something different with my 15 minutes today.
Have you noticed the asterix blocks that have popped up here and there in the blogging world? I stumbled across one
here and just felt that 'itch'. You know what I'm talking about! That 'I gotta try that' itch. And isn't my 15 minutes of play the perfect time to scratch, tee hee. I wouldn't mind that the last seam is wonky except that none of the others is. Personally, I don't mind wonky unless it looks like a mistake. In fact, I like wonky. So my choice is between fixing this seam or making more asterix with more, lots more, wonky. I choose wonky. So stay tuned for more of these.
I really like the back! Doesn't it look like a package all wrapped up neatly? I guess I should have squared it up before the photos, oh well. This was great fun, have a great day!

Love it! I Have a whole quilt of them cut ready to sew, sew, sew! AND, I've saved all my itsy bits to play a little too! Happy weekend!
Love your scrappy blocks and your asterisk block. I've been thinking about doing one of those, but haven't found the time yet. I'm definitely keeping that one on the list, though.
