I did the pressing last night and laid them out to give an idea of how it's going. I had to use a flash for this photo as there wasn't enough natural light (too early). Hope to get the pairs together after the day job...
That is one of the things I have done, I spent a lot of time in front of the TV with a rotary cutter and a stack of scraps making 2.5, 3, 3.5, 4. 4.5 and 5 inche blocks. I have them in overflowing bags.
Every once in a while, when I get a wild blue hair, I start sewing them together like 15 minute blocks.
Whatever does that mean anyway.....wild blue hair....or is it hare......I am picturing a blue rabbit racing full speed across a field.....

glen: just saying
You've made progress! Are the scraps all pre cut or are you cutting them into similar shapes?
I like the way you're sewing those into strips. Will you join them together, or will you separate them with something solid? Either way, looks fun!
Lots of fun fabrics. I love grabbing scraps and piecing them into something new.
