My First Go at 'Making' Fabric

I started with this pile of scraps.

Played around and got this.
Four cuts later I ended up with this.
Size is 6 1/2 inches.
A 'lazy susan' cutting board sure would be handy for this sort of thing...
.
Not quite sure I like this, but will make a few more blocks to see if a rapport develops.

Now all you need are some beads, buttons, threads, charms and a little bit of time and embellish that crazy quilt block! :)

Gotta love those scrappy quilts... Make a few more and keep to 15 minutes, :-)
they look so lovely when you have a whole bunch...

I love this! You ladies are doing GREAT! I 'made fabric' while V was doing her Kitchen Sink quilt and sewed TONS of scraps into 6.5" blocks. NOW I sew scraps together while I'm sewing as my 'leaders and enders'...then I can put them together later. SCRAP ON!

I love it! Where else would you see that tomato fabric next to a gingham?

Hopefully it will grow on you!

Would make a great kids or charity quilt, too.

I love making fabric. Your block is beautiful. And to think, it didn't cost a thing!
