OK, I couldn't not try this out, especially as I had this little pile of scraps left over from piecing Bee blocks. I do save strips and squares of fabric from projects after they are done, but not these little bits, I thought life was too short! I guess you live and learn!
I have to say that my 15 minutes was a little longer, as I tend to use leaders and enders and will have two projects on the go, so the piecing took just a little longer as I sent through a load of HSTs for pinwheels at the same time. (saves thread and you get two for the price of one)
I managed this in my first session...
which I squared down to this block.
I used the off cuts to start off two more blocks.... aah, hooked, line and sinker! Addicted!
Thanks V! I will be trying to fit in 15 minutes of play each day. Have you seen this post from Kim? Now I have so many possibilities rattling around in my head! LOL

I absolutely love it. I did some blocks yesterday, had the best time.
Trudi, your blocks are gorgeous! I started out using my scraps as leaders and enders, but got so excited about the scraps that I was sewing one piece for my other project and five for this one! So I guess my other project is now the leader and ender project!
Can't wait to see more of your blocks!
Awh! Trudi! now your on a roll! they look great!
I have visions of scrapping through ALL my scrap bins, but sadly, I doubt that will ever happen in my lifetime... ;-) but it's fun trying!
Beautiful fabrics! Love it!
