As for me, I have gone ahead and set my scrappy heart blocks, and I tried to think outside of the box, but I am not thrilled with the way it came out.
Oh well, that is what experimenting is for!I'm finishing this off and starting a new with the lessons that I learned, there are plenty of scraps where these came from!

Well, I really like it. It looks great!
It may not be what you had envisioned but it is a very sweet looking quilt.....perfect for a baby quilt :0).
Happy Sewing
One man's trash is another man's treasure, as they say. I think the way it looks is totally wonderful. I would thik a dark border made out of the 4 colors of scraps made with scrappy swuares and then a white outside border and you are in like flint!

really? you don't like this?? oh my, it's LOVELY!
Put a nice scrappy border of all three colors mixed, all around. Wow!~ it's a knock out. You turned simple heart blocks into some thing, n one has ever scene. You've jumped completely out of the box!
It's beautiful! I love the way it looks.
I love how it looks, too!
I love it. I always say, u never learn anything from doing stuff right....its the mistakes that bring the lessons. Hearts are so cheery and nice. Great job.

Look again we all love it; it's 10 : 1, might you be wrong!? Glen's idea of adding a border might just do the trick for you.
I really like the way this quilt turned out. Some times it is nice to get surprises.. This one is definitely a pleasant one!
I love it! I like the little hints of color in the bordered blocks- it's so fresh and interesting! It might not be what you envisioned, but it's still wonderful.
Thanks everyone for the nice feedback :) You are all so kind!
I make a lot of quilts that way, lol.
The blocks are beautiful though.
