Lost at Sea

I posted yesterday but, alas, my post went out to sea, the great cyberspace beyond the stars, where ever it went--it didn't end up here!

I am mystery coordinator for our guild, and that means every month I present another clue to the mystery.  We are on #8 of 9, and for the last two months I have not had the time to keep up with my portion.  And that is a really really bad thing for a Chief Detective of a Mystery Quilt.  And to make matters worse, in some insane moment last January, I decided to begin TWO of the mystery quilts in different colorways.  (sheesh!)
What was I thinking?

So I have been madly catching up.  But I do have some work to show you.
I have over 2 inches of 15 minute blocks, they are 6 1/2 inches each.

The bad news is that I have over a foot of scraps still waiting to be pieced!

Sigh...........I have lots to occupy my time......when I get it back!

glen:  ohhhh, the wicked witch of the west must have come in and held that ruler for me!  LOL.

You are hilarious! Why is it that the level of scraps never seems to decrease? Will we EVER get through them all? I doubt it.

It seems just as we make a dent in the pile, it grows.
Maybe it is like a plant, every time we trim it down, it grows larger;)
