15 minutes times 2...
I think over all perhaps about 30 minutes for the strip...
This went so quick... I sewn down these scraps on 4" strips of phone book paper, very randomly and quickly for our next NYC Metro MOD quilt guild... Everyone is bringing a strip of any size to make a random strip quilt... A total experiment, I'm curious to see where it goes...
But this playing has lead me to another idea... So I am going to keep playing...
just after I get that Yellow STAR SPLITTER quilt basted...
note to self: Focus Victoria! don't get distracted! ;-)
sigh, I love to play! One never knows where it leads you next!
P.S. When using phone book paper for piecing, use a SMALL tight stitch and the paper falls away very easily... I prefer it over anything....

Can't wait to see what that turns into, looks beautiful already.
I am still stuck with hexagons, lol. I decided to make a fall quilt and with hand quilting, takes a long time.
Debbie
looks great. how is it ripping OFF the paper?
I'll be very anxious to see what that strip quilt looks like. (Distraction can be good--it's fun!)
Oh good tip! The perforations would make the paper fall away...I am eager to see this quilt, sounds like the sort of thing I would enjoy making.
I, too, use the phone book for paper piecing! Now, where's the number to the plumber...
