I started with an OLD collection of hand-dyed fabrics - you know, waiting patiently on my shelf for that special project? - and a friend's quote, which yielded some awesome pieced letters.
Then I decided to incorporate some patterned fabrics, and made some fun pieced blocks...
...and some star points...
...which bacame some awesome pieced stars! More later on the finished project!
