Citric Starburst

I have been adding to this block over the last few days. Love the colours but not sure where I will go from here. I have used all of the navy fabric. Perhaps some more stars.

Great so far...definitely more stars! Maybe orange stars?

it's really fun. how big is it? where do you think the block wants to go?

Wow! This is really spectacular. The preciseness of the borders and stars is really complemented by the wonkiness of the central block... the whole piece really has great balance. :-)

Thanks for your kind comments. The piece is 55cm or 21 1/2in square at the moment. I really dont know where it will go from here but had been thinking of orange stars. This is the first time I have tried something like this. Most of the inspiration came from people on this blog site but I have been doing wonky stars this month for block lotto so decided to include some of those as well.

That scrappy border makes it sing. I like the idea of making it bigger still, and stars sound like a good idea. :- )

Oh you could just keep adding all kinds of scrappy borders......I like the way the star border gives the eye a little place to rest.....but that is not to say a whole riot of colors to follow wouldn't be spectacular!

Happy sewing
