More Blues with Yellow Slash

Wow.. I step away for a few days and creativity explodes around this blog. I'm so inpsired by all the beauty I see! Wish I had more time to play. There are always those "shoulds" hanging around making me sacrifice my play time. However, I have managed to do some fun playing, and here are my photos to prove it:

I am actually running a little low on blue scraps (this is good news... I've been trying to achieve this goal), so I think this might be all I'm getting for blocks.. unless I add more in other colors. I'm letting this hang out on my design wall so it can percolate in my brain.

meanwhile I got busy making loads of green blocks. I am not in danger of running out of green scraps any time soon.

my greens and reds ended up in this arrangement.. it's a quilt pattern I saw on the internet several years ago and made once, but not with scrappy blocks. I'm really liking this look.

That's all for now. Carol E.

Oh, good idea! I've seen that pattern before too but have been wondering what to do with my pile of blocks. This may be the very thing!
thanks :- )

Victoria.. Thanks for the thought, but I amsure I can squeeze out a few more blue blocks. I still have a huge back of scraps my sister gave me. Hers are all jumbled up and messy and not separated by color. It's funny, because she keeps a very neat house, but a messy scraps bag. I have a messy house, but I keep my scraps pretty neat! Anyway, I'm sure I can scrounge together plenty of blues. Thanks for all the fun comments.
