Just add two wonky cuts, insert batik, and voila! Much better I think. Very addictive and fun!

New to me - paper piecing block
In the spirit of play, thought I'd try paper piecing earlier this week - here are my supplies...
Here's the first block done, it looks not too bad, but could use a little something...
Just add two wonky cuts, insert batik, and voila! Much better I think. Very addictive and fun!

It's a quick fix! looks great!
It's amazing the difference a couple of strips make!
I agree with both of them!
Not only does it look cool, but using the phone book for your foundation is a great idea. We all have some of those outdated things hanging around!
Oh yes, it looks splendid with the inserts, what fun!
