I decided to give her phone book page technique a try. It worked well. I just grabbed a pile of random scraps and started putting them on the paper.
First I made 2 sections, then I slashed them and put in strips.
I was going to leave them as separate sections, then I decided to go ahead and sew them together. It's really hard to decide where to stop once you start doing this!
