Wedding Ring

I've been wanting to make some liberated wedding ring blocks forever, at least since I read Freddy & Gwen Collaborate Again! I played with using monochromatic strings for the rings and B&W prints for the corners. It looks great, and the good news is that it used a LOT of strings. Since my string basket is my household Vesuvius that is a plus! I was thinking of doing a bunch of these in different colors, but we just got a wedding invitation for a fall wedding, so I'm thinking I might turn these into a table runner for the bride and groom instead.

Great idea! I got to make that quilt in a workshop with Freddy, herself, last year. I'm sure she would like it too!
