I've done some playing

Since my first post, I've played with liberated log cabins in red/orange and blue. Yesterday I put 4 blocks together and added some borders. The width of each border was determined by the width of my scrappy strips. I haven't decided where I'll go next, so there will be more enjoyable play time. This WIP tells me that "it needs something", but I'm not sure what that 'something' is yet.

Thanks to everyone for sharing your work here at 15 Minutes Play.

how big is this? what if it is not a block quilt, but the start of a medallion? What about another color? on point? what if you cut it on the diagonal and kept building on it... Don't stop at just blocks, the possibilities are endless...
ask all the what if's... ;-) it's pretty!

Thanks, V, Alexis and Sandy. So far, this is about 28 x 28. I've thought of doing a medallion-because I just made a liberated medallion lap quilt that I like. The idea of cutting it in half opens up so many great ideas...And I love squares on point, so I will try that too. Maybe it's time to add some green...tho I had the idea that this quilt would be mostly blue when I began.!
