This is addictive

After many many 15 minutes of play this is the result so far. I keep thinking I will stop when I have done the next strip of 5 1/2in blocks but as I have many more scraps yet I think I will keep going and make it a single bed size.

weeee! What fun! Keep going! what else can you do to them? will it be a full quilt edge to edge? or will you add a scrappy border? add cooler and warm tones? applique borders? Contrasting borders? I want to encourage everyone to push it further! Fabulous!

Did you purpose to use the blue to hold it together? It looks great and it looks PLANNED almost. My scraps would not be so cohesive I don't think, but then again I haven't tried...

I didn't originally set out to make it so blue but liked the look so now I make sure there is blue in each square. I thinke I will just carry on making squares for this quilt.

It's beautiful! I love the overall blue tone. Is that because you love blue so most of your scraps are in that colorway?
