Wonky Stars

I have wanted to try these wonky stars for a while.
I hardly ever use a pattern, I usually just jump in and start cutting and sewing.
Sometimes I am alittle too free and easy in the winging it department.
I did have to use my seam ripper a bit.
I laid out my squares and rectangles.

Then I sewed on the wonky star points. You have to make sure you have enough fabric to cover the corners. I am a learn as you go kind of girl.

I made a couple of these block. They were fun and I'm sure I will make many more.
This is way out of my comfort zone.
And this is my first 15 minutes play . . .
I know I'll be doing this more often!
