Fluers & Saints

I had just asked my hubby to buy some poinsettia's for Christmas...
So I had flowers on my brain... I kept it as scrappy as I could, way to many curves..
I fused the Circle stem and green leaf at the bottom, the rest of it I pieced from scraps of
green Xmas fabrics..
Then I saw this little piece of Luis Fitch fabric sitting here...
this may grow in a radiating little wall hanging...
Fun play!

Happy Sunday!

Very good Victoria! And you look like you kept it in the 15 minute play! I have a kitchen egg timer here some where and I've been looking for it to use for the 15 minutes! Do you use one when doing the squares?

I can't wait to get mine, and see what I come up with. I keep thinking about it, and sure hope what I have in mind will look good. I just happen to have some strips of christmas fabric I inherited from my mom this year.

NOTHING is ever to scrappy. I said this year I was going to be Scrap Happy.. By that I mean all my quilts along the scrappy line.
I LOVE OLD FASHIONED SCRAPPY and the poinsetta you have here is beautiful.

How adorable--both! Hmm, I could see more of those lit up flowers around the diety. Amazing what you're doing with those orange bulbs!

Great flower! Can't help thinking that wonderful orange is just the color of a robin's breast, too! And a WALL HANGING? NOT king sized?!

I love them both! I have ideas here.

I think you are creating a new trend, Victoria. The old red and green tradition seems pretty blah now without a little zippy orange to juice it up.

The red, green, orange around that madonna ... how perfect is that!

PS ... Yes, would love to this get bigger.

I've been following along with the 'orange lights challenge' and LOVING what you guys are doing...and then today I rushed into the store to pick something up and there was an older lady buying up all the ORANGE Christmas lights! I just HAD to tell her what y'all were doing...she loved it! Nice job everybody!
