More Solid Play

I put a few of my solid pieces together and then started making a wall hanging. I decided it is going to be a souvenir pin quilt. I will stick all my quilt show and other pins here for display. I have some from travels and some from church work I've done in addition to the quilty ones. I also found these key ring things and bought the letters to spell my name. I'll attach them along the bottom, I think.

It ended up with too much white, but I'm going to add in some flowers like others here are doing.. thanks for the idea. I hope it's OK to borrow your example! Mine are not attached yet.

It definitely needs more work before I'll be fully satisfied with it, but at least I have some ideas, and hopefully it'll be OK when I'm done. Stay tuned!

Carol, with Christmas on my mind, when I looked at the thumbnail, I thought they were colorfully wrapped presents! I love them and the flowers you've added...this is a great place to pick up ideas!

It's looking great! Those flowers of Mary's are fabulous, aren't they? I'm hoping she's not going to patent them, too!!

I like the little flowers stuck in there! Cover some of the white... The pins will stand out nicely on it!
Fun!

Wow, that is really GREAT! Don't cover up too much white, though, you won't be able to see your pins. I really really love this quilt. Thanks for sharing!

Great job! I do love the solids. I dont' think there is too much white, I kinda like it. But I do like the flowers in there. They are fun.
