More than 15 minutes on a lousy pig

My sister in law loves pigs, and even has one of those Vietnamese Pot Bellied Pigs, named appropriately, Blossom.  Blossom is ove 20 years old and huge!  I always think of the Pot Bellied Pigs as small creatures but Blossom is larger than my largest Swissy!  And full of wirey poking out hairs on her dark skin.  She roots the sofa cushions up every day while Michelle is at work.  They come home to a rearraneged living room every night.

Last year I made an Olivia the Pig quilt for Michelle, but this year I decided I could make a free form pig quilt.  I drew a really cute block and set to work.

It was way harder than I ever imagined it would be.  So at some point yesterday I decided only to make 9 pig blocks and make a table runner.

About after lunch I decided that 6 (or maybe 4) pig blocks would be good for a small table runner.

And at 3 o'clock it finished up with one pig block and some really great fabrics surrounding it.

glen:  I found a cute pig watering can and a pig plate and some pig wrapping paper.  That should make up for the "quilt".

Sometimes ugly is cute!!
I struggle with my 'ugly' creations at times...but I think your table runner/placemat is very nice!
I LOVE the story of Blossom...but don't think I could live with her indoors. I once knew of a small/tiny pot belly pig that had free run of a flower shop. He/she loved the front window!

You have a knack for telling funny stories! Your little quilt is delightful & I think an appropriate name might be Blossom in the Rearranged Living Room.
