This is my first post, and I just joined yesterday! I am so excited about this project, and just jumped in with 4-15 minute plays!!! I can't stop because it is soooo addicting~! I am also one of those people that just cannot throw away even the tiniest piece of fabric. I have been quilting for over 45 years. A woman taught me to quilt when I was young, and she was a resident in a nursing home back in 1963. The funny thing is, I still have one of her quilts, and I believe she sewed 15-minute plays and turned them into quilts!!! They look a lot like the Gee Bend quilts, and this is what attracted me to Victoria's blog here! The original and creative PLAY involved! I still have one of my dear friend's quilts and I am still inspired by it after all these years.
Thank you Victoria for your blog and for this wonderful idea...every sewer has 15 minutes to play with their left over scraps!!!
Oh, I apologize for my pictures, but I do not have a regular camera. My pictures are taken with an old cell phone camera...which is all I can afford, so I make it work. The colors really are bright and pretty! lol

Hi Cathy!
Lucky you for having one of your friends' quilt! Your blocks look great! You are going to have some fun!
Thanks for sharing - we can all learn by looking at what others do.
Welcome Cathy. Love your blocks!
Welcome Cathy! Those blocks look great!
The blocks are great!
Pretty blocks, Cathy! I love the thin strips you've put in outling some of the pieces.
Thank you everyone! What encouragment! I have been working on another one tonight. Just love the freedom of not thinking TOO much, and grabbing and using up all my miscellaneous little pieces. I hope to be able to use them all up one day! Yeah...right!!! LOLOLOL
