Inspiration (not Intuition) Quilt

My Japanese Bunny pincushion has inspired me,
because it always makes me smile.

I found this bunny at Pacific Crossings Vintage Asian Textiles and made a brick wall for it using indigo scraps plus red.

Added some cherry blossom prints and a striped wall to frame ... and those white dots could be cottontails ...
a white band across the top to balance the dots and more indigos to complete the edges.

Don't know if it's finished ... maybe another red sparkle somewhere? ... some Sashiko quilting? ... hmmmm

Love it! I love indigo and red together..another on my someday list. I have some Japanese cotton hankies and didn't know what to do with them...now I'm thinking the start of an intuition quilt! Thanks for the inspiration!!

Love those hits of red. Maybe just binding it in red would do the trick?

Yeah, I'm thinking binding, too. Thanks!
