My first post
Here is my block. It didn't take too long to sew, but a lot more than 15 minutes to select the fabrics. I'm sure next time it will be a lot faster. I wanted to make sure I had a variety of fabrics with high contrast and then having the black and red dots strip will eventually tie up all the blocks in the quilt...

I really like the colors and fabrics in the quilt. You may just once try NOT obsessing over the fabrics. When I did that I was totally amazed to see it still looked quite good!
