My Intuition Needs some ideas....

My Intuition is out of fabric...I have a little bit of the floral and the pink left.  However, it is like a lap size.  Definitely not bed size....what ever shall i do...

Shall i add some plain squares around the perimeter, or some more strips...I just have no idea..  In the mean time, I had to finish my niece's birthday gift.  She specified her dark pink, light pink, orange, blue and it must have peace signs Auntie...So, using the intution concept (i already had chosen the fabric), I scrapped my original design and came up with this.  The letters appliqued are her favorite letters, of her name, parents, sister, and she just loves the Y because it is in her name and is also a sometimes vowel....

I shall machine quilt and have it ready for her party this Saturday....

Do you have some similar or complementary colors that you could add? You could add around the edges... or you could cut it up and work the pieces into a a larger design... keep playing with it! Your niece's quilt is bright and fun- I love working with design specs from kids! Great job!

Your lap quilt is great. I say quilt it up and snuggle with it on the couch. Fun quilt for your niece too!

The intuition quilt is looking wonderful! The dark colour of the rug you've laid it on makes the flower print 'pop'! How would it look with a darker border next, choosing dark colours you see in the flowers, then go lighter again, using what you have left of your fabrics with extra complimentary ones?
