My Intuition....

Okay...it was a bit different to think about remembering why you chose certain things, and did others...so two days later, here I go.

It began with the floral print above.  I ordered some sale fabric from online and because I am learning to use my fabric, I started here because I did not have any predetermined use for this purchase and decided to have a go....So a picked a variety of colors and 3 main prints as you will see...I was not sure how they would look together, but I am known to have a knack for color...smiles.  (Shameless pat on the back lol...)  So after i started with that block...

Oh wait...the rule i provided to myself was as follows.  I cut a 6 1/2 inch block from the floral print and strips and blocks from the other pieces.  I did not use all the fabric, just some and told myself that i had to use all the pieces that were larger than an inch, before i went back to the fabric and cut more pieces.  So that was my thought....

I had this (above by the time I was done with my pieces).  Then as I stepped back I thought, wow look at how the greens and pink pop...and then i wanted more of my originally inspiration...and intuition pushed me to do this....
And then Queen Bumble Beans came to mind...and I thought, bigger is better, RIGHT????? so i started with more pieces and then got to this....

Then.. my GGI stepped in with the Queen B and said well lets see how much larger we can get with the fabric that was already chosen...(use it all)..and then i went to this....

And now...i have some more pieces and I will come back with where i end up next...perhaps i can have a Bed Sized quilt...Hmmmm...lets see where my Intuition leads me...smiles.
By the Way, I was not sure if I would like the colors...but I must admit I do like it....
