Hi, I'm Lisa and new around here. I'm a late starter for the Intuition Quilt project because when Victoria first suggested it at the very start of the year I was overwhelmed by the range of swaps, blocks-of-the-months and online projects available. I didn't join up then because I didn't want to over commit myself. Now it is nearly the end of January, I'm back at work after my summer holiday, my other projects are going well and I feel like I need something else, so I talked really nicely to Victoria and she added me to the list.
And a couple of days later here is my 12 inch block for my Intuition Quilt. I had a lot of fun making it, finding fabrics with "wow", making wonky flying geese (which I think was much harder than making straight ones) and putting it together in a way that worked. But I laughed while I was doing it because the fabrics are outrageous and don't really "go together" but they are fun.
I don't know what will happen next with this block... I need to look at it a bit longer and play in the scrap bag a while.
