Actually that was all I had. (but could have had more had I realized Frank was going to finish watching the Towering Inferno for the eleventy millionth time)
I have been thinking about the Kitchen Sink Quilt for a long time. And I am looking for some blocks I "put somewhere for safekeeping" until I had time to work on them. I won this odd little raffle of Outhouse blocks about 2 or 3 years ago and didn't quite know what to do with them. Well now they are on the UFO list and their number was pulled, I can't find the darn things.
Every day when I have a few minutes to spare, I look in a deeper place, searching fruitlessly.
But yesterday I came across a basket FULL of orphan blocks. This, mind you, is in addition to the basket FULL of orphan blocks I KNOW I have. Geez. How did I get this many orphan blocks? I have no idea, but I remember all of them so they aren't made by gnomes in the nighttime.
So I spent my 15 minutes pinning the random new orphan blocks to the design wall. I thought, this will make the Design Wall Monday people go bonkers! These are the old blocks, the new haven't been mixed in there yet.
I guess this is the "perfect time" to put them together in a Junk quilt. LOL. As in "Don't touch my junk!"
Perfect........keep your hands off my stuff, it is MY stuff and I am keeping it ALL!
(Darn, I can't post photos until I upgrade my account with Google for more gb storage.......anyone else have this problem? I guess they have my five bucks with this new development.)
glen: don't tell my daughter, she gets soooo outdone with me for keeping all this stuff.........
