Done!!!

Well, almost done!
It has been so much fun! Lots of play time and lots of challenges!
I love that about scrap quilts.
Thank you all from the 15 minute bee for sending me your lovely blocks. I managed to put them all in one of the best quilts I will have in my collection.
I wish I had noted down every single thought that went across my mind. It was really fun to "visit" each of your blocks. It was fun noticing the prints and textures in each one of them..

There were many layouts under consideration.. Part of the fun!

I kept piecing those strips and thought that the center medallion would enhance the linear look I was going for the quilt. But did not end up using in the quilt. I am still going to add a few strips around the edges.
I will post the final pictures soon!

Thanks everyone!

it looks great -- but you still don't have my blocks! sorry I was late on this -- some for the back, I guess.

Brenda,
If you have them ready, you can still send them. I am waiting for a friend who is sending me some strips. I will put them around the quilt. I honestly thought I had them all! Sorry about that!

I love that third layout with the horizontal bars ... not sure if that's your final decision but whatever choose to do, this is one stunning quilt.

They are so exciting....all versions. I like the vertical bars best, and I may just use that idea in my next project, if you don't mind.
