from vanilla to butter pecan with cherries, blueberries and creme d'menthe

I am still trying to follow Victoria's lead and let this quilt lead me where it will.
I've gotten all the blocks quilted, which I did randomly, as my mood dictated.

I really like the quilting on the individual blocks.
Now to put all of this together in one cohesive quilt.  I had first thought to leave out the bits 'o color strips, but just could not bring myself to be totally colorless.
Here is where I am left hanging.

I had almost decided to only use the earthy strips, but when I put the other colors into the mix, I am rethinking the whole thing.  Initially I wanted to make it easy on myself as far as trying to put it all together, but now I think I might go with the bits and see what happens.  But then, as I said, I think I am just gonna let her hang around for a bit and see where the mood takes me next.  And, of course, see what y'all have to say to inspire me to carry on.

I really like all of the texture! And the strips with the dark color really make it pop. Did I say I like the textures. I want to touch it. The texture is so great in the pictures, that I can feel it with my mind.

This question will show how much I don't know!! You quilted each section, and then you'll put it together? How does that work?

Shine on! Kelley

I love, love, love your quilting! You have inspired me to try some more fun quilting. I kind of like the little bits of color in your strips. They seem to add a tiny pop like the bubbles in champagne.

I really love the blocks. Hard for me to visualize the strips between the block being sewn up. So I can't say nay or yeah. When you wake up tomorrow, the answer is be there. Bonnie
