More 15 minutes of play

My fifteen minutes of play today turned into a couple of hours.  I took my little blocks from yesterday and turned them into this:

I've still got twelve more blocks to do, then I don't know what is next.  Sashing?  Any suggestions?

It's fantastic, I think they speak for themselves and would look wonderful just as you have them there, with plain white sashing! Is it hand dyed fabric? It's so pretty!

Now for the other blocks you showed us!!

these are gorgeous, keep playing, push it further. what if you took the sashing idea off the table... now what else can you do with them? how can you make a quilt you've never made... don't let your play stop yet...

Janet, these are fabulous. I really like the way the X's play. I think they would look great next to each other without sashing. What's after that...???

They are really beautiful! The colors are so pretty. I wonder what they would look like in little groupings with patches of other colors all around, like little clusters of spring bulbs blooming :-)

Wow, I'm loving those sherbet-y colors and your modern piecing. You could try playing around with them some more, try different things. Have fun!

I quite like the white around the blocks. They look like little abstract paintings right now, all hung together on a gallery wall. I think it would be a shame to crowd them with more colors or prints. You have to decide whether you want a busy quilt or something more ethereal (that's the word I wanted for your blocks! They look ethereal to me).

These are simply amazing, Janet! I love them as is., but you ought to have fun playing with them, too.

Your blocks are simply beautiful ... suggest you keep moving them around ... you can always come back to this setting if you don't happen to discover something you like even better.
