Love the goose. Checks and plaids were not made to be matched. They were made for FUN!

I am a Home Ec. teacher and I wouldn't make you do it over. It looks great. I love mismatched plaids. It gives it more life.
I like them just fine this way.
I agree with beth...stripes and plaids are to be played with just like all other fabrics. Matching is painful and not playful. Bonnie

This goose was fun to make, but matching those checks was impossible. My Home Ec teacher would make me do it over for sure. How do you do that?
