It's a Portal

Instead of my usual practice of spending hours agonising over each fabric and trying to find another piece to match, with the contents of my stash all over the sewing room floor, I decided to do it an easier way and made eight blocks of favourite fabrics.
This is what happened after several hours (days) of cutting, sewing, looking, unsewing and sewing again.
I was quite pleased and surprised to see what appeared.





These were the four blocks and I made two of each.


I've got quite a bit of the blocks left over, so it will be interesting to see what can be made of those.

I really love your house...great fabrics! For some reason it reminds me of a tree....must be the stripe down the middle.
