I love black and white mixed in with brights! This looks so great. I agree with Sheila, does it need to be quieter? But then again I love my colors screaming! hehehe
how about some gray between the blocks. A friend of mine did something similar and when she put a really dark gray between them, the blocks popped out! looking forward to seeing what you do!
Margaret, it's magnificent! Wish I'd thought of this for my month! If you really want it quieter, how about a narrow border of a black and white fabric, with a wider border of a different (darker/lighter) black and white outside, with little crazy sticks of bright colour in it...a bit like the quilt you showed at Victoria's a while back...that was a great border! (You are that Margaret, aren't you?!)
Yes, Charlotte, that's me ... appreciate the suggestion ... we are almost on the same wave length about going forward (& please check your junk mail for an email from me Apr 6 when I received your blocks).
This is stunning! I love the big black and white block and all the small black and white fillers. The colors are beautiful. I am sure whatever you do from here will be great.
Love the black and white blocks too. Maybe you could include a little more of the black and white...I love it just as it is.so colorful and I am sure it will be a great quilt and conversation piece! So much talent on this blog site! I am learning more each day !
Margaret, this is just fab-u-lous! I'm loving the b&w fabrics - could even have more!? Either way, it's a winner - looks like they're all holding hands :)

I love this the way it is! I like the small bits of black and white fillers along with the black and white block. I wouldn't change anything.
This looks fabulous! You really had vision when you came up with this idea. Why quiet it down? I'm like Lisa, let those colors shout!

Celia, que colcha de abelha é Margarets, não o meu ... fofinho!
Não posso esperar para ver seu mini quilt!
Margaret,
Your quilt top looks beautiful. It is fun to see all the blocks put together, Isn't it?
Like every one else here, I love the burst of colors too.
It looks great to me. I dont think it is too riotous.

Like your title Organizing Chaos, because it is all tied together with your colored sticks that meet each other. Wouldn't change a thing!

Thanks all for your feedback ... you've eased my mind about how this is working out.
