cactus flower

Sorry couldn't add the small quilt swap to my to do list. All the ones I've seen in progress would be wonderful to get. I am currently using 15 minute blocks in a quilt based on an old pattern called Cactus Flower. The center is done with the center blocks 15inch on a side. I used the striped fabric to size up to fit the same block in 12inches square (the block I cut off in the picture). Making fabric to use in the large triangle part of the flower. Then what, who knows? Maybe nothing or maybe more.

Oh, it's spectacular! That striped fabric really makes it fun.

What a great quilt. Your quilts make me want to run to my quilt room and get sewing! I love the maple leaf and the made fabric and the striped fabric. Are you planning to add more? I'm wondering about the block at the bottom of the photo.

Cactus Flower is new to me. Your colors and stripes are so sunny....just like the cactus garden I visited in Phoenix. Warms me up all over!
