Boy Quilt Scrap Play

I nearly finished the little boy quilt and so since I was in the mind to create with those bright primaries, here is the play I did at my quilters gathering yesterday afternoon.  They all think I'm a little nuts, but seem to like what I do; they all follow patterns...  I think I have way more fun!  Perhaps this will become a market bag that I can put the finished quilt into when I give the quilt.  Happy Sewing today!

Great boy quilt scrap play! I tried my hand at some of this random sewing last night, but kept sewing myself into corners, or open-ended triangles and not knowing where to go from there! Help! It was fun, though, I must admit!

Love it! Maybe you can encourage your group to try some? They are missing out on the fun!

I love making matching bags to put my quilts in. They can hang in the closet and I know right away what the quilt is without having to get it out and unfold it. Your's will be wonderful, bright and colorful!

These are so cool. Looking at the pieces you have here and in the boy quilt, it put me in mind of an idea. I have all this fabric I did not choose from my mothers stuff. I can do this with it.

It just occurred to me to step outside THAT box!

I have a busy weekeend, but I have finished the obligations for quilt maker and maybe can concentrate on my "desirable" stUff!
