Above is a picture of a quilt I have just begun for the first grandchild of a good friend of mine - it's a boy! I have already decided I plan to slash & sew the larger triangles - there's just not enough of the "scrappy" happy look to it yet! Other ideas welcome! Thanks quilting friends!

I don't think you need to slash those triangles anymore. I like it the way it is.
