My AAQI quilt to get things started

Just to get you started, I finished my first mini quilt (8" x 10") for our AAQI challenge.  I used made fabric for the corners of both star units, as well as the background.  I used foundation piecing for the star points, curved piecing to put the star units together, and fusible applique to put them on the background.
I call this one Inside Out.  You will be expected to name each of your quilts.  I call it Inside Out because the points on the larger star are outside the red arc while the points on the smaller star are inside the red arc.  It is like dementia where the memories are trapped inside the arc of the brain.
I chose the colors because I wanted to see how they would work together.  One of the personal benefits of creating these small quilts is being able to play with patterns, colors, and techniques.  I look forward to seeing what the rest of you are going to do.
