AAQI Quilt Finished

"Sunrise" is my AAQI quilt donation. I used curved piecing for the morning sky background; the sun was actually in my leftover box, from an old project never finished. This is such a worthy cause, I was happy to participate. My mother-in-law is in the memory care wing of a nursing home. We are thankful that even though she doesn't remember much, she can still visit with us, and seems to remember us, especially her sons, and she still has her sweet disposition.

This is dedicated to the wonderful staff of the Morningside Heights Care Center, in Marshall, Minnesota. They give round the clock love and respect to all of the residents, and treat them all like family members. We are so grateful for their loving care.
