Playing Around with Made Fabric Blocks

I really needed some new pot holders and realized I could make some quite unique ones.  I found these 8" blocks in a pile and seized the opportunity to practice free motion quilting!  I found that the concentric circles were much more difficult than they appear.  I had more fun with the orange one : )

Enjoy!

What a great way to practice free motion quilting! I like them both; the little round circle in the orange one looks like an embellishment, rather than fabric. Pretty!

What a great idea! I'm totally new to patchwork, but this looks like something I could easily do. And if I mess up, who's going to notice?
