Blocks 3, 4 and 5

I finally got some free time to just sit and sew yesterday.  I am glad to say that I am now all caught up on the blocks of the month.  After my first two blocks I knew I was going to need some more background fabric so after a trip to the local quilt store (20 miles away) I selected a few different fabrics that kind of read gray - from light to dark - that I will be using for my background fabrics.  I very carefully cut this fat quarter and was able, through piecing, to use it for all three of these blocks.  So, here they are and at the end is a pic of all my blocks together.  I reversed the courthouse steps and used a single fabric block for the center.

Oh these look so great! I was going to make each block with a different background, but now I don't know what to do! I think I'll be sewing alot in the next few days to figure that out! LOVE your blocks!
