Remember back in the spring when we had a block challenge? This is the block I entered...

While making the block, my daughter came into the room with her laptop to work on homework. She told me that I was certainly a busy bee, going from the cutting table to the sewing machine to the iron. When I was finished with the block, she said she loved it so much that she wanted an entire quilt made 'just like that' for her college dorm. I took her up on her request.
After making the 9 blocks, I decided to use the QAYG method since the blocks finished at 24" and it would go quick. Here is the finished quilt...both front and back, along with a couple of closeups...
She loves it! I have several pictures on my blog that show the quilt after it was washed and dried and all soft and wrinkly.
