Playing with squares

I spent several 15-minute sessions playing with my 2-1/2" squares, making light/dark combinations.  Then I decided to combine them into groups of threes... possibly for 9-patches. These were left after I sewed several 9-patch combinations, I didn't realize I had so many with the light square in the middle!

They do shape up pretty though, put all together...

At this point I don't know what I'll do with them... will I leave them as 9-patches or will I add more to the sides and make them 16-patches??  OR will I slice them up and do something entirely different?  Only the 15-minute fairy knows for sure...

Slice and dice! If you want of course . . . .

Nice made fabric. Didn't see a single fabric I own. Your stash is interesting.

Thank you! I was thinking of slicing because the blocks didn't all end up square - I always have problems with "the scant." The large picture isn't made fabric though; it's all the blocks I made so far, aligned up together.
