Anyone else with that problem? Of course if you do, you can't tell me about it, but if you have a solution, and can comment, please do. And no, it doesn't seem to have anything to do about whether or not the little box about staying signed is in checked. I can comment on some blogs, but not others, including this one.
Note: Of course, now I tried commenting and it does work.

I follow 379 bloggs, not all are ebloggers but enought that I get a varaiety of responses and snag foos with comments that I have almost given up commenting.
My observations: IT ALL DEPENDS ON HOW THE BLOG OWNER HAS SET IT UP.
Sure somewhere 4-5 months ago blogger changed things so folks who set up their comments before that who knows what happens.
If you can post as anoyonomus then do it that way.... less likely to eat the comment.
this blog does not have that option. So I will try and copy what I write before I hit the post button just in case blogger eats the post.
Often, but not always, it will work if I sign out of google reader, while leaving the blog open in another tab, and then try the post sign in/out routine ----- NOW I DON"T LIKE TO DO THIS as I then have to start over in the google reader list. I will skip and mark some posts as keep unread as some take a lot of brain power to absorb ..... so when I sign out and I have marked 14-35 posts as read later, then I have to go back through and mark those all again..... that is a lot of effort for a "comment".
And then sometimes the blogger fools me and the comment just goes and it was a fun experiance.
Time to see if this blog is fun or frustrating, will try first without signing out of google reader. Ready...

too, you are three time post and a secret word.. which is fine....
so this second comment did not go through the hoops of sign out and three time post comment button....
I don't have a blog so I haven't a clue how to ask blogger what the deal is.... as ultimately I think it all rests with them.
It has to be a blogger thing, I have not changed anything on this site...

About not allowing a comment to post, everyone is having that problem & there are many sugestions. It comes down to a blogger problem. I have found that on some sites when the screen that you mentioned pops up, take the last option that takes you to a google sign in screen. Sign in again, but UNCHECK the box for 'stay signed in'. Then come back & go thru posting your comment.
If you have a blogger blog, you'll see your followers disappear & reappear. Also a blogger problem from what I've read on the problems site.
Think this is what's meant by a love/hate relationship!
